TiCore for Windows 10 is a software package written by Tieval engineers and supplied with automated disc and shaft inspection systems. The software has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of major manufacturer specifications.

System capable of fully automated probe normalisation against test block and component.
Automatic Probe Beam Profile Calculation
System capable of automatic calculation and storage of probe beam width and symmetry.

System continuously monitors component centring to ensure this meets specification.
Automatic Focal Compensation
System automatically adjusts scan profiles to suit actual focal length of probe.
Semi-Automatic A-Scan Inspection
Continuous system rotation with speed adjustment and indexing capability to allow semi-automated visual inspection.
Fully-Automated C-Scan Inspection
Repeatable automated inspection against operator programmed part profiles.
Automated EBD Resolution
Pulse Repetition Frequency and Index Step automatically set to required percentage of Effective Beam Diameter.
Automatic speed compensation against component diameter change.
Data Logging and Reporting
Fully automatic logging of system functions and results.
Auto Beam Profiling
The Auto Beam Profiling facility carries out an automated high resolution scan of a ball reflector or known defect and calculates the maximum amplitude reflection and all reflections within -6dB of this point.
Effective Beam Diameter and Beam Symmetry are calculated and recorded from this scan, the system is then capable of automatically scanning to the required percentage of the effective beam diameter.
Auto Component Centering
The system rotates the component whilst calculating the distance to the surface of the component, after rotating through three hundred and sixty degrees the system calculates and constantly updates the error in component centring.
The centring operation can be paused and re-started at any time to allow an operator to adjust the position of the component. Upon closing the function, the centring tolerance is recorded.
Fully Automated C-Scan Inspection
System moves to start of scan, automatically normalises the probe and scans the component at the appropriate inspection resolution (% EBD), producing c-scans of both the internal areas of the component and the component back-wall echo.
The c-scan is shown with un-scanned points or missing data shown in green, data values in a user selected palette and defects automatically shown in red.
A Scan Capture
TiCore is also available with full a-scan capture facilities allowing an operator to evaluate the a-scan for every pixel of the acquired c-scan image.
The data (both a-scan and c-scan is stored as a single small file, the example in the video below was 120 Megabytes of information.
