Composite

Tieval offer a range of multi-axis automated and semi-automated composite inspection systems capable of inspecting flat, curved and double curved composite components to the most exacting industry standards. All composite inspection systems are fully bespoke and as such can be designed as immersion or squirter systems capable of pulse-echo or through-transmission inspection.

As standard all Tieval composite inspection systems are supplied with our proprietary TiCore inspection software, operator manuals and all other necessary resources.

Metallic

Tieval are specialists in supplying bespoke multi-axis automated and semi-automated immersion inspection systems capable of inspecting a variety of component geometries in compliance with major technical specifications. All metallic inspection systems are bespoke and as such can be designed with a variety of options, allowing the system to be fully tailored to the requirements of the customer.

As standard all Tieval metallic inspection systems are supplied with our proprietary TiCore inspection software, operator manuals and all other necessary resources.

Aero-Engine Fan Blade Inspection

Tieval are the official suppliers of all aspects of manufacture, calibration, maintenance, spares and technical support for M403V & M403T fan blade scanners as used on Rolls Royce Trent, RB2-11 and IAE V2500 aero-engine maintenance bases worldwide.

Shorts Brothers - Legacy System Retrofitting

A team of Tieval engineers attended Belfast, Northern Ireland to carry out a major upgrade to a Midas NDT produced automated flatbed inspection system operated by Shorts Brothers.

The upgrade involved the installation of new TPAC ultrasonics, a full system rewire and the installation of our proprietary TiCore control software. These changes help to modernise the system, improving the inspection capabilities as well as the future reliability and accuracy. These improvements bring the system performance closer to that of a newer generation automated ultrasonic inspection system, whilst being a cost effective and environmentally friendly solution.

TPAC Pilot+ Ultrasonic Unit Installation

We recently completed the installation and integration of a TPAC Pilot+ ultrasonic unit on a customer’s existing system, helping to extend the operational life of their equipment and support continued reliable inspection performance.

By upgrading the system with modern ultrasonic technology, the customer can continue to benefit from their established inspection setup while gaining improved capability, long-term supportability, and a more future-ready solution.

This project reflects our continued commitment to supporting customers with practical upgrade paths that maximise the value and lifespan of existing NDT systems.
